What Amazon Announced for Multichannel Sellers
At its Accelerate seller conference on September 24, 2026, Amazon announced multichannel selling tools inside Seller Central. As reported, sellers can now connect their eBay, Shopify, TikTok and Walmart accounts to Seller Central and see orders from those channels alongside their Amazon orders. The announcement was published by Mary Beth Westmoreland, Amazon's Vice President of Worldwide Selling Partner Experience.
Two details matter most for planning. First, Amazon says the tools are rolling out gradually to sellers in the US store "over the coming months", so many sellers will not see them yet. Second, Amazon says they come at no additional cost to sellers. As of October 2026, Amazon has not given a completion date for the US rollout or any timetable for other marketplaces.
Amazon's stated reason is that most of its independent sellers already sell elsewhere. The announcement says more than 95 percent of independent sellers in Amazon's store sell across multiple channels. Amazon gives no source, sample or definition for that figure, so treat it as Amazon's own estimate.
"A free dashboard is worth connecting. What you route through it, and what data you hand over, deserves the same review you would give any new vendor."

This article separates what Amazon says is live today from what it describes as coming later, flags where outside coverage disagrees, and gives a short checklist for sellers who get access before or during peak season.
Live Now vs Coming Later
The table below follows Amazon's own announcement as of October 2026. Where independent coverage described a feature differently, we say so underneath.
| Capability | What Amazon describes | Status (as of Oct 2026) |
|---|---|---|
| Connect channels | Link eBay, Shopify, TikTok and Walmart accounts from a multichannel settings page under the Settings menu. | Live, gradual US rollout |
| Import and link listings | Bring off-Amazon listings into Seller Central and link them to Amazon products. | Live, gradual US rollout |
| Orders and sales view | See multichannel sales and orders in one place. | Live, gradual US rollout |
| Fulfil off-Amazon orders | Send an order from another channel to Amazon for fulfilment, with tracking flowing back to that channel. | Live, gradual US rollout |
| Edit once, update everywhere | Change a product description in Manage Products and push it to every live channel, reformatted per channel. | Described as coming |
| AI channel listings | Generated, channel-ready titles and product details for other channels. | Described as coming |
| Cross-channel profitability | A per-product earnings view across channels, drawing on sales, ad spend and traffic data. | Described as coming |
| More channels | Additional channels promised "in the coming months", none named. | Expected, undated |
*Status follows Amazon's announcement as reported in late September 2026. Rollout is gradual, so a capability listed as live may not yet appear in your account. Confirm what is available in your own Seller Central before changing any process.
Where sources disagree. At least one independent guide published in late September 2026 describes single-edit listing updates and profitability analytics as already launched, while Amazon's own post places them in the future. PPC Land also noted that a seller quoted in Amazon's announcement describes using a profitability dashboard today, and that it is unclear whether she has early access. Separately, guides give different end dates for the rollout, from October 2026 to the end of Q4. We follow Amazon's wording here and recommend checking your own account rather than relying on any summary, including this one.
Which TikTok? Amazon's announcement says "TikTok" throughout. Some coverage reads this as TikTok Shop. As of October 2026, Amazon has not spelled out whether shop orders, advertising data or both are included.
A Five-Step Checklist When Access Arrives
The rollout overlaps with Black Friday on November 27, 2026 and Cyber Monday on November 30, which is the worst time to change how orders flow. These steps keep the change small and reversible.
Your Connection Checklist
Check whether you have it
Look for the multichannel settings page under the Settings menu in Seller Central. If it is not there, you are not in the rollout yet; nothing is required of you.
Export your own records first
Save current cross-channel sales, fees and margin data outside any platform, so you have a baseline to compare against whatever the new view shows.
Clean identifiers before linking
Listing matching leans on consistent GTINs and SKUs. Fix mismatches between channels first, or linked products may pair incorrectly.
Connect one channel and watch it
Start with the channel you know best and compare its orders in Seller Central against the source for a couple of weeks before adding the next.
Price fulfilment before rerouting it
Get the actual per-order Multi-Channel Fulfillment cost for your sizes and weights, then compare it with your current 3PL or in-house cost. Change routing only when the numbers are known.
The Bottom Line on Seller Central Multichannel Selling
Announced September 24, 2026, Seller Central's multichannel tools let US sellers connect eBay, Shopify, TikTok and Walmart, import and link listings, see all orders together and send off-Amazon orders to Amazon for fulfilment. Amazon says they cost nothing extra and are rolling out gradually over the coming months.
Single-edit listings, AI channel listings and cross-channel profitability are described by Amazon as coming later, though some guides call them live. Fulfilment still carries Multi-Channel Fulfillment costs, inventory sync has not been described, and data terms beyond Amazon's summary are not published. Connect one channel at a time, keep your own records, and confirm everything in your own Seller Central.
On our sourcing: This article is based on Amazon's own announcement of multichannel selling tools in Seller Central, published by Mary Beth Westmoreland, Vice President of Worldwide Selling Partner Experience, and on independent coverage from PPC Land (September 27, 2026), MarketplaceMax (September 26, 2026), Common Thread Collective (September 29, 2026) and GeekWire, as of October 2026. The September 24, 2026 announcement date, the four connectable channels, the capabilities described as live, the gradual US rollout, the no-additional-cost statement and Amazon's data-use summary were each confirmed in at least two of these sources. Amazon's figure that more than 95 percent of independent sellers sell across multiple channels is Amazon's own claim and is unsourced. Sources disagree on whether single-edit listings and profitability analytics are already live and on when the rollout ends; we follow Amazon's wording and flag the disagreement. Amazon has not committed to dates for the features it describes as coming, nor to additional channels or marketplaces outside the US. No separate fee schedule for fulfilling off-Amazon orders through these tools had been published as of October 2026. Confirm availability, terms and fees in Seller Central before acting.
