  • Block third-party cookies or all cookies entirely.
  • Configure your browser to notify you when a cookie is being set.
  • Set your browser to automatically delete cookies when you close the browser.

For more information on managing cookies in your specific browser, please visit your browser's help documentation or www.allaboutcookies.org.

If you disable third-party cookies, affiliate networks may not be able to track your visit, which does not affect your browsing experience but does impact our ability to earn commissions that support the free content on this Site.

7 Third-Party Services We Use

We use the following categories of third-party services to operate and improve the Site. Each third-party service provider has its own privacy policy governing its collection and use of data:

  • Google Analytics (Analytics): We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to analyze Site traffic and user behavior. Google Analytics collects data through cookies, including anonymized IP addresses, pages visited, session duration, and user demographics. Google's use of this data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. You may opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
  • Email Marketing Platform (Newsletter Delivery): We use a third-party email marketing service to manage our newsletter subscriber list and deliver email communications. This service stores subscriber email addresses and tracks email engagement metrics (open rates, click rates). The platform processes data in accordance with its own privacy policy and under a data processing agreement with us.
  • Content Delivery Network / Security (CDN): We may use Cloudflare or a similar CDN provider to deliver Site content efficiently and protect against security threats. The CDN may process IP addresses and other connection metadata as part of its content delivery and security services. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy for more details.
  • Hosting Provider: Our Site is hosted by a third-party hosting provider that stores server logs, which may include IP addresses, request timestamps, pages accessed, and browser information. Server logs are retained for a limited period for security and diagnostic purposes.

8 Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share personal information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers: We share personal information with trusted third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf (such as email delivery, analytics, hosting, and CDN services). These providers are contractually obligated to use your information only for the purposes of providing services to us and are required to maintain the confidentiality and security of your data.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose personal information if required to do so by law, or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) comply with a legal obligation, court order, or legal process; (b) protect and defend our rights or property; (c) prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Site; (d) protect the personal safety of users of the Site or the public; or (e) protect against legal liability.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via a prominent notice on the Site of any change in ownership or use of your personal information, as well as any choices you may have regarding your personal information.
  • With Your Consent: We may share your personal information for any other purpose with your explicit consent.

Aggregate and Anonymized Data: We may share aggregate, anonymized, or de-identified data that cannot reasonably be used to identify you with third parties for any purpose, including research, analysis, marketing, and business development.

The data protection laws of the United States and other countries may differ from those in your country of residence. By using the Site and providing your personal information, you acknowledge and consent to the transfer of your data to the United States.

For users in the European Union, EEA, or the United Kingdom, we implement appropriate safeguards for international data transfers, including:

  • Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs): Where applicable, we rely on European Commission-approved Standard Contractual Clauses to provide adequate protection for data transferred outside the EU/EEA.
  • Adequacy Decisions: Where applicable, we transfer data to countries that have received an adequacy decision from the European Commission.

  • Service Provider Security: We require our third-party service providers to implement appropriate security measures to protect your data.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your own devices and internet connection.

15 Do Not Track Signals

Some web browsers transmit "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals to websites.
